Well, the boating season is a’comin’ and we wanted to take a minute to highlight some of the new listings for sale on BBY. In this post, we have selections from both ends of the spectrum, fast & fun to comfort & luxury.

First up is a 2008 Rinker 260 Express Cruiser out of Addison, Vermont. This cabin cruiser is a sizeable 28ft, that packs a powerful punch with its 350 Mercruiser.

With only 15 hours logged, this boat is aching to get out there for a weekend trip or an afternoon cruise around the lake. Hi Everyone-

Despite it being a bit overcast, the day has still been very exciting as we had the opportunity to interview Mike O’Brien, who has been a key figure in the creation and operation of the Lake Champlain Maritime Festival. Check out the video below to hear more about Mike and the LCMF.

 
Mike also serves actively in the Antique & Classic Boat Society, both nationally and for the local Lake Champlain Chapter, which holds frequent meet-ups and boat shows during the season.

If you’re looking to make plans for this weekend that involve great entertainment and educational activities for you and the family, then come on down to the Burlington Waterfront for the Lake Champlain Maritime Festival! Burlington Boatyard will be a sponsor sharing in the great atmosphere and list of activities due to set sail Friday through Sunday.

“Stroll along the shores from venue to venue, view the Classic Boats. Watch long boat, canoe, kayak races and Dragon Boat demonstrations.  Experience boat building, sample local fare, enjoy music and bring the children for hands on exhibits that will serve to entertain as well as educate. This weekend Guy, Jimmy and a few other BBY members plan on being front and center to meet with all those who want to come by and check out our display, shoot the breeze about boating and, more importantly, get a chance to meet all those interested in celebrating Lake Champlain.
