The Windsor Craft 36 HT, a luxury yacht at its finest.

Being offered through ‘BOATS by George’ in Lake George, NY, the boat is crafted in three layers of hand-selected African mahogany, cold molded together by skilled craftsmen using the most advanced West System epoxy.

This ultimate entertainment boat allows you to entertain in style with a grill, icemaker, wine fridge, and enough comfortable seating for all your guests. You can serve appetizers on the mahogany table with a compass rose inlay and watch the sunset on the port-side settee. After you are finished, retire to the air-conditioned cabin to relax in comfort and watch a classic film on your full-sized flat-screen TV.

With teak floors at your feet, rosewood on the dash panel and mahogany all around, this boat helps you enjoy a special evening as you prepare a gourmet meal with the galley’s large cook top and day grill.

When it comes to wooden boats, they are truly pieces of dedication and a timeless amount of hard work. This particular boat was built using a cold-molded technique. When incorporating epoxy resin that bonds thin layers of wooden planking, cold-molded hulls are typically stronger and lighter then those of fiberglass or aluminum.

Artisans in Turkey, a country well known for its centuries of old boatbuilding tradition, build this classic Windsor Craft. Only in the past few years have American powerboat enthusiasts seen the high caliber of yachts being made there. Windsor Craft boats are built with three layers of African mahogany saturated and held together with West System epoxy. A layer of fiberglass sheathing is applied to the hulls to help resist abrasion. Properly maintained, a cold-molded hull will last at least the owner’s lifetime.

The Windsor Craft 36 HT is one of three new models (a 30-, 36- and 40-footer) and is built for SERIOUS cruising. And if you think a varnished cabin sides and teak cockpit sole were not enough, the top of the forward coach roof is also finished in multiple coats of varnish.

While many boats like this tend to be dark and dreary, the Windsor Craft is built with large expansive windows in both the cabin and the cockpit. A large sunroof even provides a defying skylight effect that warms every part of a boater’s soul. One other sign this boat speaks luxury and lifestyle, the kitchen is minimilastic, and hides well within the large, spacious cabin.

As far as engine power, the Windsor Craft 36 HT doesn’t hold back. The twin 300 hp VOLVO 5.7 Gi DP-S gasoline engines move this 19,500lb beauty queen that tops out at 32-knots, and purrs like a kitten the entire time.

Burlington Boatyard has had the pleasure speaking with Steve and George from ‘BOATS by George’, and they said it was quite exciting to see people’s reactions to the Windsor Craft 36 HT. The line to tour the boat could have been compared to a Valentine’s Day waiting line at the Icehouse in downtown Burlington that weekend! This boat really stole the show, and we look forward to seeing what happens with this unique showstopper!
